driving from north to south
last weekend we drove all over bahrain (it's not that big, anyway) from muharraq to zallaq. it's not everyday that bambi and i have the same day-off because he keeps shifting hours, but i think when he gets promoted to DC we'll have the same friday off, probably by january...

so anyway thursday i was halfday, then bambi came home around six after i finished with the laundry. their bbq party was not til 10pm so we drove for a while before picking kuya dom up, then Candy and ate Mariam. i think i posted their picture at their staff party last month.
imagine being at the beach in the middle of winter without a bonfire! but jan (bambi's duty manager and the official mother of The One Bahrain) brought so much food and she was so kind, she gave everyone presents and we had games & mingled, it was fun, i wish we also have a mother figure in New-Age, too. afterwards mommy carol side-talked me on how bambi was depressed while i was in manila, and ate mariam laughingly joked that she will tell me bambi's antics while he was alone.

...nothing bothered me as much as Candy using 'po' when she's talking to me. i mean, im New-Age's baby and it icks me when im treated like an oooolder person. it such a drastic change to my persona. besides, she's also 23, isn't she? hehe, maybe because she is The One Bahrain's baby, too. or maybe she just cannot believe that im married already. well, anyone wouldn't believe it either. i don't care.
but i like her, and ate mariam, too. they're nice.

so... when we went to tc, like, the most happening place here... (YES, they have a 'happening place' here after all, and NO, we don't go there often) after the bbq party i cannot believe how the people danced there! it's so... well... i can't say! i was speechless because those who have partners are like- ehehe - touching everywhere! grabe, it's like they're not in public... i have never seen that kind of dancing before... yikes!
but apart from the foreign exhibitionists, wala namang pinoy na nagkalat. Er... pwera lang kay lola? hahaha! me lola doon na sumasayaw! in the middle of the dancefloor! lol!!!
we have no pictures because we didn't have a battery. and we were finished by 2 but got home not until 3 because we sent the three of them home first. through the fog...

then we woke up at 8am to attend the InterColours Basketball Tournament opening ceremony, they are the Bahay Kubo Team (the team carries the name of the sponsor), then after some psychedelic muse contest we went to Zallaq to pass the time since their game will start at 4pm. i uploaded our pictures in our bambi & me album but i have some here for previews. (i also added new pictures there and also in our manila album just so you know).

then we ate our very late lunch at 3 and headed back to muharraq but their game was cancelled so we just drove home and slept til 9. then had our dinner. and then we slept again. we woke up the next morning na. grabe, kulang talaga kami sa tulog!
this week's highlights so far:
+ they had a staff meeting yesterday and they are now allowed to have highlights & wear snickers... what a change from their usual black-leather policy... their company is the coolest ever! +
so we highlighted his hair last night, as in pronto!
+ i can't wait to decorate bambi's christmas hat! they have this contest in the one for the most creative & funniest christmas hat that they gave them to wear this december and they have a prize! +
+ i cooked sweet and sour milkfish last night! i can't believe it tasted sweet and sour! +
